CORE STEEL FEED DRIVE

This heavy-duty feed system accepts core steel over a large width range and feeds to infinite length. Due to its direct-drive design, machined and ground feed rolls, accuracy and precision is very high while keeping vibration to a minimum.

The MTM feed system uses a high-precision servo motor that is directly coupled to the bottom feed roll, and operates in open-loop mode.  The operator colour touch screen interface control, electrical controls and servo drive unit resides in its own protected, standalone enclosure.
